Richmond Centre Welcomes New Stores and Services

Lexington, Ky., Feb. 4, 2009 – More local and national retailers will soon open in Richmond Centre.

Joining Belk and TJ Maxx, both scheduled to open in March, is Hibbett Sports® (7,500 square feet), one of the fastest growing sporting goods chains in the country. Beginning as a neighborhood sporting goods store in 1945 in Birmingham, Ala., Hibbett Sports has grown to more than 650 stores in 23 states. The store will offer a wide selection of sporting goods carefully chosen to meet the needs of the customers in the Richmond area by providing quality brands at competitive prices.

In addition, national retailer Deb Shops (7,602 square feet) will open in March. Targeting fashion-conscious juniors, teens and plus-sized misses, Deb Shops will offer moderately priced accessories, coats, dresses, lingerie, shoes and sportswear. The store will also offer a selection of formal wear and plus-size options, along with gift cards.

Maurices (4,960 square feet), also opening in March, will offer fashionable women’s clothing for sizes from 1-24. Customers can choose from a variety of clothing options including the latest styles in denim, loungewear and dresses, along with a variety of accessories and perfume. For seven decades Maurices has stayed true to high standards for fashion, value and great customer service.

RadioShack (2,448 square feet), one of the nation’s most experienced and trusted consumer electronics specialty retailers, will open in February. RadioShack customers can choose from a variety of electronics for the home or office including phones, MP3 players, televisions, computers, cables and batteries. The store also offers a trade-in program where customers can be reimbursed for previously used electronics and devices. RadioShack employees are trained on the latest technology available and prepared to assist with in-store questions regarding all services and products.
Dr. Bizer’s VisionWorld, a leading provider of eye care services will open in March at Richmond Centre. The center also boasts seven locations in Louisville, Ky., and two locations in Knoxville, Tenn.

Operated by Eye Care Centers of America Inc., Dr. Bizer’s VisionWorld will offer high-quality designer and exclusive brand frames, lenses, contact lenses, accessories and sunglasses. The center will also offer vision consultation services and competitively priced correction procedures. For added convenience, the store will provide one-hour service on most prescriptions when available.

Newly opened, Tire Discounters (5,875 square feet) offers hundreds of brands of tires, wheels and accessories. The store also provides information and services related to rotation, brakes, balancing, alignment and performance upgrades. Professional service technicians are available to offer guidance on sizing and pricing.
