Lexington, Ky., Sept. 10, 2008 – Two national apparel retailers will soon join Richmond Centre and open in time for the holiday season. Soon to be one of the largest retail destinations of its kind in Kentucky, Richmond Centre welcomes dressbarn and rue21.

Designed to suit the budget-conscious career woman, dressbarn (7,500 square feet) will sell in-season, quality women’s apparel and accessories at discount prices. The store will offer career fashions such as sportswear, dresses, suits, blazers and accessories to working women. With more than 800 stores across the country, dressbarn strives to maintain its distinctive position in the marketplace by providing its own private labels and contemporary fashions at great value in an environment that is friendly and trustworthy.

“We are pleased to see continued commitments from national retailers in joining Richmond Centre,” said Charles Thrift, senior leasing associate with Crosland. “Retailers are drawn to this area due to its desirable demographics, interstate accessibility and mix of retailers.”

A leading specialty retailer, rue21 (4,764 square feet) will offer fun, affordable fashions for girls and guys. Apparel for girls includes a wide assortment of tops, bottoms, denim, hoodies, underwear and accessories. Guys can choose from tops, bottoms, graphic tees, cologne and cool looks. rue21 operates more than 400 stores and is headquartered in Warrendale, Pa. The company is continuing to expand at a fast rate, with plans to open approximately 500 more stores over the next five years.

Both retailers will open by the end of the year, joining Goody’s, which opened Aug. 28 and JCPenney, scheduled to open Sept. 27.
